Cat Tired of Console Wars

Mr. Marbles, a tabby American Shorthair mix, expressed his opinions towards the console wars. When asked who he thought the winner between the Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation 3, and the Xbox 360 was going to be, he simply put one paw over his eye and dozed off to sleep. It was obvious that he was sick and tired of hearing about it. It’s been well documented that cats have better reasoning than humans, so Mr. Marbles response was expected.

The greatest example of why cats have better reasoning than humans is the famous food experiment performed in the early 80’s. If you are not familiar with the experiment, it went like this: a man and a cat were kept in a room isolated from the outside world with plenty of food for 10 days; the results were the man starved to death, while the cat survived.

The man in the experiment didn’t know which food to eat and he kept changing his mind over and over until he died. The cat simply ate everything and survived the experiment with ease. Scientist believed that the man could have eaten all of the food like the cat did, but he was stubborn. His stubbornness led to his death.

The answer that Mr. Marbles provided can be an inspiration to us all. Asking him to simply choose one console was like asking him to play with only one cat toy. It simply doesn’t make sense to Mr. Marbles to choose just one console, when all were available to be played with.
